Hi, I'm Joe Thompson, an expert insurance broker for Drewberry Mortgage Insurance in London, England. Having spent 15 years in the insurance industry I now spend my time split between broking mortgage life insurance and providing education materials to our employees, schools, companies and to the wider internet community.

Our aim is to provide a real service to people and educate them as much as possible on the value and uses of the insurance market for protection purposes. It is also our hope that through providing education materials, through writing articles and blogging, that more consumers will end up purchasing the right type of cover for them, i.e. make a more informed decision. There are far to many mistakes made out there from people buying inappropriate cover online.

The main areas of insurance I will write about include term assurance and mortgage payment protection insurance (MPPI), as these are my areas of particular expertise.
